Our Family Farm
We are proud to be third generation dairy farmers. All our milk is sourced from our family farm: Clair-A-Den Farm. The farm is owned jointly by: Claire, Denis, Leslie and Jeremy Michaud. Denis moved to Vermont with his family from Quebec in the 1950s, and they bought the beginnings of the farm. After high school, Denis and Claire began running the farm and raised their three sons: Jeremy, Travis, and Daniel. The boys all had interest and a role in the farm growing up. Eventually, Jeremy and his wife Leslie bought into the farm with Claire and Denis, and the other sons left with their families to start their own farms. Jeremy and Leslie are raising their four boys Lincoln (15), Gabriel (14), Morgan (12) and Dawson (9) on the farm today. In 2009 (a difficult year for dairy farmers) the family decided they needed to diversify to support everyone, and they came up with the idea of a creamery. This would allow them to stay in the dairy business, and keep farming, while having an additional source of income. After over a year of crafting an elaborate business plan, they launched Kingdom Creamery in 2011. They started out just making a few flavors of ice cream and yogurt. Since then, the creamery has grown steadily, making new products, new flavors and securing many new customers. The fourth generation farmers (Lincoln, Gabriel, Morgan, and Dawson) love having a role in both the creamery and the farm, and it is truly a family operation. At Kingdom Creamery of Vermont we are proud of our farming heritage and are excited to offer our customers a truly unique Vermont farm fresh super premium product right from our cows to your home.
